Pentecost Sunday!

Sunday, May the 24th. Pentecost Sunday! To many in contemporary Christianity, the promise of this wonderful experience was limited to the early Disciples. To those of us who have lived this experience it life changing. Jesus gave the Disciples the promise in Luke 24:49 And behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high. Webster defines a promise as a legally binding declaration that gives the person to whom it is made a right to expect or to claim the performance of a specified act.

Before we limit the promise we must first confirm Scripture with Scripture. Later Simon Peter would confirm the Promise in Acts 2:39, For the promise is to you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, as many as The Lord our God will Call. The Baptism in The Holy Spirit is the PROMISE of the Father to all who will ask! if you haven’t experienced this wonderful infilling, dare to believe that His promise is Yea and Amen! it will be life changing and will show you a closer look at the heart of our Wonderful Lord Jesus!
